NEW DOUBLE STOREY SHOPHOUSES BEING BUILT

Two new double storey shop houses are being constructed at the corner of Jalan Kee Ann. These two freehold properties are being undertakened by a private individual.

Over the past 2 years, Jalan Kee Ann has seen some new buildings being built by the private sector. A year ago, 10 three storeys shophouses were built at the rear of Jalan Kee Ann, opposite the former Cathay cinema. To date, these shophouses are being completed. Also, a former 4 storeys building was converted to a 88 room Prima Melaka hotel. Then, Wana Best Western Riverside Hotel was opened in December 2011. All these new investments in hotels and new property development augurs well for Jalan Kee Ann. Hopefully, more interesting shops will be tenanted to provide services and products to the locals and tourists alike.
